Literature Criticism 1400 - 1800

Literature Criticism 1400-1800 had about 170 volumes. It took up two carts and finished off the section of large, multi-volume literary criticism sets. Indeed, I experienced less emotional impact from this than its predecessors.

I guess the weirdest thing is how I keep thinking there must be a way to find a home for these discards, or any books my library doesn't want anymore, but I keep shutting myself down because I know I'll be disappointed if I put energy into it and it goes no where. So I did sustain a jolt of sadness as I witnessed the cataloging student workers wheeling the carts to the back elevator, taking the books to their fate in the dumpster.
